Marmara, Aegean, and Mediterranean ecosystems were observed

Marmara, Aegean, and Mediterranean ecosystems were observed and biological species were studied during a 90-day boat journey.

Volkan Narcı, President of the Marine Life Conservation Society, studied common biological species in the seas during a 90-day sea voyage that started in the Sea of Marmara and ended in the Mediterranean.

During this voyage, Narcı examined common biological species in the seas and discussed issues and solutions with scientists and fishermen.

For his project titled "Sustainability Journey from the Sea of Marmara to the Mediterranean," Narcı set sail from Heybeliada in July on a sailing boat, covering 1,700 nautical miles through the Sea of Marmara, the Aegean Sea, and the Mediterranean.
